A Time to Focus On: Learning about Colleges and Careers, College Applications, Executive Functioning, Goal-Setting, Academic and Study Skills

For one hour each week, Ms. Block and Ms. Bohorquez will lead students in activities connected to college and career, academic skills (note-taking, studying, etc.), and executive functioning skills (organization, planning, time management, digital wellness, etc.). This hour is not a study hall period. Instead, this is precious time to give yourself to improve your skills and create plans for a successful and fulfilling future that aligns with your goals and values. Unlike the personal wellness advisory, Ms. Bohorquez and Ms. Block will guide you through whole-group activities designed specifically for your unique needs as juniors and seniors.
